The Math Lab
Building confident mathematicians from the foundation up.
The Math Lab provides personalized mathematics support designed to help students strengthen foundational skills, understand mathematical concepts, and approach math with greater confidence.

When math feels difficult, students need more than more problems.
Sometimes a student doesn't need another worksheet—they need someone to slow down, explain the concept differently, identify the missing foundation, and give them an opportunity to practice with support.
The Math Lab provides individualized instruction that focuses on understanding why math works, not simply memorizing an answer.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Building Strong Mathematical Foundations
-
Developing an understanding of numbers, quantities, relationships, and place value.
-
Building accuracy, strategies, and confidence with foundational computation.
-
Developing conceptual understanding and fluency with multiplication and division.
-
Exploring shapes, spatial reasoning, measurement, time, money, and other foundational concepts.
-
Learning how to understand problems, choose strategies, and explain mathematical thinking.
-
Developing efficient recall and flexible strategies without sacrificing conceptual understanding.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Who Can Benefit From Math Lab?
Math Lab may be a good fit for students who:
Need additional practice with foundational math skills
Have difficulty understanding mathematical concepts
Need concepts explained in a different way
Struggle with math facts or computation
Need support with problem solving
Lack confidence when working independently
Need supplemental practice alongside classroom instruction
Would benefit from individualized math instruction
Are homeschooled and need additional math support
How it works:
-
Tell us about your student's current math experience and areas of concern.
-
We look at the student's strengths and areas where additional support may be helpful.
-
Instruction focuses on priority skills and concepts.
-
Students receive guided practice and opportunities to apply what they've learned.
-
As skills strengthen, instruction adjusts to meet the student's next learning goal.
OUR APPROACH
INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT
Math Instruction Built Around the Learner
Students don't all develop mathematical skills at the same pace.
Math Lab instruction is designed to meet students at their current level while building toward their next instructional goal.
Whether a student needs to strengthen foundational number skills, improve math fact fluency, understand a new concept, or simply gain confidence, instruction can be adjusted to meet the learner where they are.
Let's Make Math Make Sense.
With the right support, students can develop stronger skills and a greater sense of confidence in their mathematical abilities.
